Do people actually like the JACO? I got one on the last deal and it feels like cheap crap to me. I guess everything these days is just cheap crap

I like my Astro Pneumatic Tool 3018 3.5" Digital Tire Inflator with Hose
but its closer to $70 nowadays.

I've owned this for 4+ years. The gauge will eventually break, and the hose isn't great, but it's also only $10. I'd spend more up front and get something from a more reputable brand like JACO

It's documented in the listing but it caught me off guard.. this comes as a 1/4 in, not the typical 3/8 most compressors use so just FYI. Need to switch the fitting or use an adapter.

Nearly every inflator gun or air tool comes with 1/4" NPT threads and 1/4" fittings. You'll be hard pressed to find any air tool with 3/8" NPT inlet. It's a bit confusing to most ppl, as the 1/4" NPT has a thread diameter of over 1/2" diameter (nearly as wide as the body of the gun). The fitting from the factory on the gun is a 1/4" NPS (National Pipe STRAIGHT, not NPT), and tho it's common to be on these inflators, it's made for using on the standard type of air hose female end that screw onto the fitting and seal with an o-ring or gasket.

Most users will likely have to toss that fitting anyway and install a 1/4" NPT quick connector in 1/4" or 3/8" body size. But just saying every air gun will be the same.

He's probably working with commercial/construction grade stuff maybe where they use 3/8" stuff, IDK. I'll tell you what gets a lot of people is the quick release connectors; I used to think they were all the same/standardized but believe there's 3 different styles but they bad part is that they all look similar.
