Costco for example has nitrogen air and it fill up pretty quick. I liked it a lot. The problem is that no one has Costco nearby and making a stop there or at gas station just for the air alone during this season or winter is rather inconvenient and impractical hence the appeal of this deal despite negative reviews (But it just $10!)

Your original question left 2 things. Volume and from what psi. From 30 psi to 40 psi is not bad using bicycle pump. You get a lot more exercise hand pumping from 20psi to 40 psi.
For bicycle tires, not much volume it isn't so bad to get to 40 psi. I usually hand pump to 90 psi.
