Faking what? This is the 1942 theatrical version.

Indeed. This "Theatrical Version" is not in my Prime Video library, but the "With Bonus Content" [amazon.com] edition is (ported in via Movies Anywhere from Vudu).

Incidentally, the "With Bonus Content" edition is the version on Amazon that the Movies Anywhere listing for Bambi [moviesanywhere.com] links to.

If you thought Disney had any original ideas left just wait for the live action remake of bambi. No cgi animals were harmed in the making of this film.

Nevermind the live action remake of Bambi... I'm still waiting on the live action remake of Tarzan where they would cast a <Redacted> in the lead role.

That's not fair. Virtue signaling to non existent audiences is WAY more important than making money.

My goodness, when daughters were small, I used to watch this movie every Saturday with them, so many times, those were the days, they are all grown up, but honestly, one can still watch this with familySmilie
