Nice deal for the itty bitty chippy committee 💜 (standard wally world regular size chip price is about $5 per 3/4 lb for those curious.)

I did the math and this comes out to $0.32/oz. I looked at my local grocery store for their current price of Ghirardelli semi-sweet chips and its $0.35/oz. So I guess it is a bit cheaper and worth it if you want 5 lbs of chocolate chips but its not such a great deal that its worth it to get to stock up if you don't want/need that much chocolate.

40-50 cents/ounce is common for Ghirardelli these days, even online. Who's your local shop selling them for so much less?

Has anyone tried the 365 brand chocolate chips? It is cheaper per ounce (29-cents/oz) for the S&S 1.5lb bag. And you dont have to buy as much. 🤷

I'm not seeing the $6 when you apply the coupon on the product page.

I bought some from a deal they had a while back for like $2 something a bag. They're ok. I bake about 5 days a week and there wasn't a night and day difference in taste from the two I normally use. I use the Costco chocolate chips or tollhouse for one cookie I make a lot, and Trader Joes Belgian chocolate for the more gourmet ones. To me Belgian chocolate is best, but it's also more expensive.

I bake like 44 or more cookies a day 5 days a week. I use 2.5 bags of the 10-12 Oz chips for a double batch. Used to be 3, but prices affected that.
I'd run through this bag in like 2 weeks.
