Meh has been around forever I believe they were the founders of woot and moved on to woot after selling and Amazon drove it into the ground.

As for the product.. idk...

I have this. It works well and has been a good solution for my family… kids not needing to carry a key.

Biggest negative is that you have to program it with each finger. So it's not a solution for if you want to give someone new access to your house.

Yes, and it cost about $60 on Amazon.

Does this not work? "Guests can securely enter by scanning a QR code and using a one-time Offline Access Code—no app download needed"

If you're asking yourself "is this a good product" the answer is almost always no when it's sold by meh. It's because they sell meh products at clearance prices that nobody really wanted. You can occasionally find something fun for cheap, but don't expect quality or customer service.

I have not read the manual yet. This forum is the best to become informed.

"3D fingerprint," what does this mean?

Why is another costly device of a hub needed? There are complete products out there that cost less and wifi enabled.

I tried buying one, and the payment goes through, but the page keeps saying "oops there was an error" and then charges my card. Then reverses the payment later (not sure if them or my bank).

To be fair, the deadbolt in the door usually runs on battery,. If you have something else that you can plug in you can create a bridge via Bluetooth with the battery in the door, and then this plugged in item can run to wi-fi, using it more energy. not having to have Wi-Fi directly from the battery item in the door deadbolt

of course the value of a home automated item, is entirely related to their connectivity in the system. and I probably wouldn't trust this particular system as I've never heard of it
