Good looking boots… but looks like they are $20-30 everywhere (JCPenny, Macy's, etc). I'm not sure the $189 MSRP is very legit.

I'm seeing $190 at Macy's and $60 on clearance elsewhere for Deegans.

That would be split-grain shoe leather. You don't make shoes out of top/full grain leather.

I was curious about that too. ChatGPT says "crazy horse leather" is actually pretty high quality and is real hide leather. Has something to do with how it's polished and waxed.

I have T&V dress shoes and they are above average quality. I'd also say they are the most uncomfortable shoes I've owned in a long time. They lasted about a year and now the sole is squeaky and the heel is starting to come loose.
