Have Received $200.00, $350.00, $350.00 - for the THREE different Family member Accounts we Opened (and Closed after Promo)!
Indeed TRUE - was a BIG Hassle for the 2nd family Account Opening and Verification.
BTW AFAIK 'failed ID Verification' - same we faced, is Often due to Mobile Number Provider being *UNABLE* to Verify or Match the *EXACT NAME and NUMBER* you entered during Account Application and what they have on file with them.
Ex: my daughter could NOT be verified, because her Cell Number was under 'my' generic name for the WHOLE Account at the time. Called and Talked with Mobile Provider, added her name under Cell Number/Profile... waited 24 hours.. tried.. worked like a charm!
Anybody knows the reason why certain banks can not verify id online though you give them all the needed info?
Here are a few reasons:
Frozen credit reports
Use of VPN
Use of ad-blockers
Use of pre-filled information (rather than typing everything out)
Use of Google Voice telephone number
Missing information (not completing every field)
Non-matching name
Non-matching address
This bank is an absolute joke. I got denied due to them being unable to verify my identity. When I called the line, they said it would take 30-45 minutes on the phone to complete the application. I have no idea why so many financial institutions require person to person interactions to do the most mundane tasks.
CUSocal had a really good CD offer, same thing. You couldn't open online, but had to do it on the phone. Spent 15 min on hold, and once the person picked up...it took all of 15 seconds for them to open the CD. It's like a jobs program to keep tellers employed.
