Regardless if ya like the shoes or not, check out the savannah bananas if they ever tour at a city near you. They are super fun events. Even my spouse and kids whom hate normal baseball loved the bananas. It's worth it!

This is a valuable feature! Normally, when a bird poops on your shoes, everybody will laugh at you and call you bird poop shoe guy, but with these, nobody will notice! It's revolutionary! In for 2!

Are name brand Crocs any better than cheap knock offs? Is the rubber or what we they make it out of any better?

It will depend on which knock-offs. I have some that are identical material from Temu, They also look nicer than my crocs, but that is a style preference.
A main advantage of my Temu knock-offs is no holes in the sides as some models of crocs have. So better water resistance when I use on the wet lawn or other places. Here are the Temu ones for reference:

I also have some knock-offs that are inferior using a lighter material and less flexible than the material used in crocs.
