Visible's unlock policy it 60 days.

"Any smartphone purchased from Visible will be locked for 60 days from the date the device was activated on the Visible account associated with the purchased device. Once the 60 days are up, your device will be unlocked automatically."

I have Chase offer for 35% back (up to $30) on Visible purchase, which negates cost for 2 months services. Final cost for me will be $199+tax with no trade-in required like Google offer.

Also, 60 days of Visible service will cost you $50, so the total cost of this phone would come to $249+tax.

Ugh I want this but I'm not risking losing my number to these fools again. Why not just open it to existing members. I hate this kind of nonsense.

Where in the unlocking policy does it say that the service has to be active for 60 days?
I'm not reading it that way.

What is the April 1 date? Was there something dated then?

The second month is only $5 with the referral, but still, why is everyone saying this?

Only 128GB Pixel 9a is available ... bummer, need at least 256.
Agreed - if 128GB was enough I'd have searched Target stores for closeouts of the 9 or 9PRO when that slick deal was posted.

Why not open a new account and pay for 2 months of service , then cancel once your device is unlocked? That removes the risk of losing your number.

Deal seems dead. Order cancelled and new orders won't go through
Just bought 1 Pixel 9a less than a minute ago, The deal is still live.
You may need to check with your bank to approve the transaction on your card or use a different form of payment like PayPal/Venmo at checkout.

Good luck!

So when this phone unlocks does that mean I can take it to any service provider? I already have an existing family plan on t-mobile. When the phone unlocks can I just drop in the SIM from my current phone? Thanks in advance.

so this for those individuals that wanted me to compare the play store offer vs this offer with a trade in.

the google play store would be this:

Pixel 9a Obsidian 128GB (Unlocked)
Qty:
1,
$449.10

10% off ID.me

-$49.90
Buy Pixel 9a (Unlocked), get $100 in Google Store credit1

Add
Trade-in

Apple iPhone 13 (128GB)

Estimated trade-in value: $280.00

OOP
$208.39

and Store credit earned
$144.91

making the phone after store credit: 63.49 but i don't know what i could use the play store credit because its just towards merch besides cover and screen protector. maybe earbuds?
the case and earbuds would be: 136.03 leaving 12.51.

So my loss would be: 12.51 plus 75 metro deal.
Meh you need to trade in the phone which is worth $250 , not worth it

What does unlocked mean? If only I had a search engine that could tell me

YMMV but I switched to Visible from Xfinity. Now wi-fi calling doesn't work most of the time in fringe cellular rural area on Pixel Pro XL. Did not work at all on my S10+. On Xfinity Wi-fi calling has been reliable with zero bars cell. Both sevices use the same Verizon towers.

do I cancel my Google store unlocked order for 399 with another $100 store credit? please help
My 9a arrives tomorrow for the $399 price + $100 store credit. BTW, since mine shipped I have the store credit, it's good for 1 year.
No, not hard to do the math: I'm on a rural property 50 miles SE of Tucson. But I'm just just a half mile in from a US Highway where all 3 carriers have towers, but Verizon and AT&T are LTE only, with VZN being the slowest. A T-Mobile tower less than a mile away has 5G UC that gives me over 300 mbps, whereas Verizon gets me 20-30 mbps. So the math works for me to pay a bit more and not have to put up with Verizon/Visible crap service.

Yes, simply make 2 months of payments on the $25 plan and the phone willl unlock automaticaly after 60 days. Then you can pop in your sim and use it on T-Mobile once its unlocked.

Edit: Don't forget to use a referral code from Reddit to get $20 off your second month of service ($5 for second month of service with referral).

Anyone know if I can move the phone plan to my main phone and still have the 9a unlock?
