Anyone who got equipment or phone balance paid off by verizon for the old carrier and also got the $200 GC?
And how long does it take verizon to hand over the master ecard or whatever method they use to pay us for the equipment balance for phones from old carrier, can it be used as a credit card? Do we pay off the balance on our own before joining verizon ? never done the phone balance pay off do we pay off the balance first then cut off from old carrier or activation can be done on verizon and then we get some time to pay off balance? Anyone done this before, appreciate your input.
And what best way to get this master card as fast as we can.. I am having issue with verizon who already send a redeem code but the url they are sending me is not working.. do I need to activate the account first then it allows me to redeem the code?
Thank You
1. The cheapest Verizon 5G plan/Unlimited Welcome Plan (without the 5G Ultra Wideband ?) ?
2. The Verizon Unlimited Plus/ 5G Ultra Wideband (5G UWB) ?
3. The Verizon Unlimited Ultimate 5G Ultra Wideband (5G UWB) ?
I want to get four 16 Pro Max 256GB now for 4 lines but want to upgrade at least one line a year later down the road to the next generation of iPhone 17 maybe? (if Apple comes up with something new and different hopefully? Will you Apple? or the same look and feel with iPhone 13, 14, 15, 16 again? C'on Apple!). I've been waiting and waiting for over 3 yeas already since iPhone 13 Pro Max and time for upgrade but nothing new from Apple!
But don't want to pay a little bit over $200/month for the unlimited plan with AT&T even the phones are paid off and out of any contract! AT&T is similar to Verizon I guess with increasing taxes and fees (about $6 now with AT&T) as well as twisted the plan a bit by modifyind/adding/removing just tiny changes and and make existing plan outdated and move you to the new plan that cost about $5 more every 6 months or 12 months up to the point that my cost after 2-4 years after the phones are paid off the same with the cost before the devices are paid off!
I did the 4 lines separately one day after the next to get 4x GC.

Compared to the Visible+ plan, the Verizon Welcome plan doesn't have 5G Ultrawide nor unlimited mobile hotspot + the smartwatch plan is $5 more expensive, for those who want it. But, for an equivalent Verizon plan, one could go with the Unlimited Plus plan for $45/mo (which then makes the smartwatch plan actually $2.50/mo cheaper, for only one smartwatch though).
So, over the course of 3 years, Visible+ would cost $1,115 including the iPhone 13 (per line).
Verizon for an equivalent plan (the Unlimited Plus) with the 16 Pro Max would cost $220/mo + tax/fees for 4 phones/lines, so let's say $250/mo x 36 mos. (assuming no increases in fees/taxes) = $9,000, or $2,250 per line.
So the difference is $2,250 - $1,115 = $1,135, which is almost the cost (b4 taxes) for a Pro Max. It's like you're paying $1,115 to upgrade the iPhone 13 from the Visible deal to the 16 Pro Max in the Verizon deal.
Doesn't sound like a great deal. Am I missing anything?
I was previously on a basic prepaid plan with 4 lines for $100. Now I am paying $140 for the 4 lines on Verizon including the device financing / credits.
I also received $900 in gift cards + additional savings from a portal signing up(around $200-250).
So I'm basically paying $10/month more over 36 months for 4 new iPhones . Maybe I was overpaying for service before?
I believe the promotion for the gift cards changed, the last time this promo ran there was a $300 gift card for new accounts that you could claim once. Now it appears that there is just the $200 gift card that appears in cart while checking out after you wait a few moments.
I did the 4 lines separately one day after the next to get 4x GC.
I would leave them and use the Tmobile keep and switch promo. The bad thing is you would need devices in the meantime that att unlocks your current devices.
Great if you have older devices laying around
I will look into the t-mobile promo. Thanks!
$20 National Discount Promotion on 3+ Lines
So if you have 4 lines
30+30+30+30+5+5+5+5-20=120
OP said 120/month after taxes and everything and you are saying 147/month?

Does Verizon give any bonus content like how AT&T gives from HBO or TMobile gives free Hulu and Netflix?
Does Verizon give any discount for a retired nurse?
