This is a good deal. But know that the time to get notifications is pretty delayed. Maybe 30 seconds to over a minute on these v4 cams. I can have someone park in the driveway and walk up to the door before I get a notification. I know it's the v4 cams cause my other versions will go off much quicker. Other than that, they're great cheap cameras. Resolution is much better than v3 and OG.

This is a good deal. But know that the time to get notifications is pretty delayed. Maybe 30 seconds to over a minute on these v4 cams. I can have someone park in the driveway and walk up to the door before I get a notification. I know it's the v4 cams cause my other versions will go off much quicker. Other than that, they're great cheap cameras. Resolution is much better than v3 and OG.

Was about to ask about resolution and whether it's a marked improvement.

No. The 6 months only applies to the 2 cameras, not including any other wyze cameras you might have

Do these have prerecording like in thr Ring cameras where it senses movement and recording starts 6 seconds before? I'm trying the blink cameras now and lack of this feature bugs the heck out of me.

I was here to say the same. I just bought 4 Wyze Battery Cam Pro's and was unhappy when i found out they don't either. Might just send them back. Thanks for making people aware.

Wyze reallly has geared their software to make pay for their services. I love the v3. I bought the Pan Cam v3 and v4 and took them back. I bought Tapo to use outdoors. they have free AI detection that works great. No false reportings.

You get 6 months on each, if use them one for 6 months and then start using the second one.
The subscription for one device, 6 months is added to your account. You can use that with any one device in your account.

Other than being ugly my Wyze cams are rock solid. I am considering getting a hard wired system like Reolink or Ubiquitii but in the interim the 24/7 recording using the SD cards honestly pretty much gets the job done.

I was about to get this, but if the V4 takes that much longer to load than the v3, that'll stop me because the lag on the load of the v3 is my biggest complaint. Thank you.
