Thanks, OP!....This appears to be the new, regular price for this (note that it's a "rollback", not a sale price), but it's likely been (or is being) discontinued, to make room for a new product. If you use ONN streaming devices, it almost makes sense to purchase it just to have a spare remote (as it's compatible with all of their streaming products). The replacement remotes are sold on Walmart (by third-party sellers) for as low as approx. $8.00, but they may not be actual OEM replacements. Some generic remotes are OK. Others not so much.

so comparing the 13 dollar model and the 20 dollar model, taken from reddit

>The major differences are the processor, the ram, and 4k support.

>The FHD stick supports 1080p max, the 4K box supports 4k.

>The FHD stick has 1.5gb ram, the 4K box has 2gb ram.

>The FHD stick has s805x2 cpu, the 4K box has s905y4 cpu.

so an a35 dual core vs an a55 quad core, I am planning on spending the extra 7 dollars, yet I want to thank this thread for getting me in the head space to buy a new toy. 🧸 📺

Interesting, because https://aislegopher.com/p/onn-goo...3/15678922 says it just dropped to this price on 4/14.

I read that onn might be coming out with a new stick soon.

Who's nodding these & can u like the firestick?
Any links?
Hopefully the controller situation is better than firesticks. With those you need to repair a gaming controller every time if you are using it with emulators, gamepass, or moonlight.

Maybe im just unlucky....

1080p max?? If you're going to get an onn device, get the onn google pro that supports 4k:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Go...om=/search

I'd wait for that one to go on sale.

Just a heads up - "Full HD" means 1080p resolution. Not 4k compatible apparently

FYI - we have a bunch of the white HD Google TV Chromecasts (runs Synology DSVideo). One of them is going bad, and the replacement Google device is a lot more expensive. Just buying a few of these as backup.

Down fall of Onn. No atmos of DV support. Also the 1080 version (this one) is notoriously slow. The 4k is a nice stick if you have a Samsung, who also has no Dolby support.
