"Instead of having a couple thin wires on your desk, you can have a massive, odd looking box sitting on your desk, with those same wires running in an out of it!"

I have something like this for under our entertainment center to keep everything more contained instead of spilling out everywhere, but all the extra holes and folding ability seem to make this less useful instead of more.

Going have to measure my surge protector, if this can fit my grey belkin i forget like 10 plug surge protector I will probably get this, since it sits on the ground and I would no longer have to worry about the robo vac hitting it or getting tangled in the power cables.

For small setups like 2-3 cables yeah this is overkill but for a entertainment center or spot where you have like 5-10 cables this can actually make it look organized on the cheap.

Not to ruin the OP, but I can easily make one such box using a shoe box with holes punched?

Sure? But it's five dollars and won't look like an elementary diorama sitting under your desk.

If you happen to be in-store check the clearance aisle. Picked up two for a buck each. They are ok for what they are.

Bought it. Trash. If you need one, buy one of the versions on Amazon with a wood top.

Haven't tried this one but happy with cheap wood top ones on amazon. I'd advise people match the color of their walls/baseboards so it blends in, or use behind furniture. This one looks kind of ugly, so kind of defeats part of the purpose. These can also be nice to keep things organized, prevent kids/pets from grabbing cords and prevent robot vacuums from catching cords.

I have a basic version of this (just 2 holes, one on each side) and it hides the wires for my work desk well.
