I was going to purchase a mini-PC to use as a streamer but it turns out that unless you're gaming, using Plex or the like.
An upper level streamer (Roku Ultra, ONN 4K Pro, Google TV Streamer 4K) is a much better choice.

oh oh... Isn't HK holding all shipments to the USA right now? Unless than excludes electronics...
Contact [email protected] I just had my order canceled because after waiting since early March, they told all the stuff coming in from HK is on hold and has to go to a U.S. warehouse first before it can ship out. They were hoping to get them some time in May (originally supposed to ship in late March). They did offer me a credit if I wanted to wait or the option to get something different shipped out, so it's worth contacting them.

I bought it and I don't know why 😂 Seems like I can do some fun stuff with it for $154. Home server and will probably finally play around with Linux. Also, to those wondering it specifically says on the website that the warehouse is US and shipping from the US. Of course that could be untrue, but I suspect since these a refurbished machines they are indeed coming from the US, since an end-user has used them. I doubt they would've shipped the used machines to warehouses all the way back in Hong Kong for returns or repairs.

Anyone else order from Minisforum and actually receive their order? I put an order in over a month ago for a refurbished unit and am still waiting. I don't think their in stock units are really in stock.
Oh really? It's a good deal but if it takes forever then it's not worth it.

As these are shipped from China, are they going to be hit by the tariffs once they arrived at the US? As the current levies are over 100%, we might expect this to go north of $300 after all is gone and done. Am I missing something?

No... currently they are factoring in 10% levy across the board.. this will be the toe in the water over the next 3 months to see who eats or pays the tariff... until late July that is, barring some news

Y'all, it says the warehouse is US, which makes sense since these are refurbished computers

I waited a month and now have disputed the charge with CC since they charged it a day or two after ordering. Even got something back saying might be another month. Great deals, but seems like they have a real shipping issue. Not sure if this is tariff related or not.
You have to be very cautious. I had to deal with a company called compu-direct . Their Tracking number did not have an activity for like five weeks then they tried to charge a restocking fee when I tried to cancel . I refused, they shipped the item, I rejected the delivery.
When I disputed the charge of the credit card company, they lied and said that it was delivered and item was in my possession . It was $1600. I was a student . PTSD is still there .

I have this with the 5600H processor, this thing works great. The NIC is an intel I225-V so works with esxi memory tiering, but do have to rely then on the sata ssd or network for datastores

If the computer is already in the United States because it's a return from a previous customer and they are selling it to you as refurbished and shipping it from their US warehouse then there is no tariff because it's already been in the US for a while before the tariff existed.
