Question about the scan and go. I see in that article linked above that they "scan" your cart. Does that mean you can't pre bag your items with your own bags?

You can. However not all items fit. They may be packaged in bulk.

It worked now.

It's a Groupon issue. I got the same message several times when trying to check out. After getting that same error message multiple times this morning, I finally got it to go through about an hour ago. Just keep trying or switch to a different browser.

You can no longer cancel auto renewal online. You either have to go into the store or call the toll-free customer service number to cancel auto renewal.

No issue. Once you scan alcohol it lets you know you'll need to show your ID at the door and the scan thingie is red instead of black.

I had no idea they disabled this feature, so I looked into it. To me, the last line of these instructions reads as if I cancel my membership now, it will expire when my current 1-year membership expires (mid Aug). I would be ever so pissed if I cancelled now and it were immediately invalid. Sneaky bastards!

How to disable Auto Renew

Sign in to your online account and select Membership Settings under Account.
Select Cancel Membership and then confirm cancellation by selecting Yes, Cancel.
Canceling the Membership causes the membership and all add-on memberships to expire on the listed date.
