Lowest of the low. These boards blow up easily, and the deal gets even worse if you add replacement cost and labor

*Yes, not everyone has a nearby Microcenter. Those that do though, MC has a $300 9600x combo, but with ASUS Prime mATX MB (not much better than the GB Gaming MB?) and only 16GB ddr5. Or $340 for same with ASUS Tuf MB. Also 7600x for $20 less and 7700x combos for $100 more.
...At this point I'm not sure if I should wait for the Micro Center in Santa Clara to eventually open; I've been eyeing their $400 7700X bundle for a while now
How does this deal compare to the bundles Micro Center offers?
More importantly, what would make this NE bundle more tempting? A better mobo?

But getting a boot drive, 32gb of ram, a mobo and a modern cpu for 350 brand new is a great bundle if you are looking for a low budget new build. When every dollar counts arguing it's just x dollars more isn't always feasible. Just manage your expectations and if you do this seems like a great deal. Just install everything and boot it within the return period in case of a DOA.
I prob wouldn't go above a 70 class gpu with this mobo and I definitely wouldn't plan to overclock with a low end mobo like this. You are better served spending a bit more on a better mobo with a 5080 as the power needed could affect system stability. The mobo connects everything together and really is important. Also, a 9600x is gonna be bottlnecked more than I would like unless you're only at 4k. I would find a bundle that's a notch up on the cpu and mobo if you're thinking for a 5080. Hope that helps.

At least based on the current Micro Center offerings, hopefully the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX v2 mobo is better than what NE is offering here
