Seems like a great deal used as a monitor. Although just a 60Hz panel, this is full array and should have great contrast. I'm currently using a LG 43UT7590 and the panel looks pretty sharp with text without text fringing. Brightness is average, but I'm thinking of this tv or the LG 48B4.

Hisense U6 55 inch has same features and costs 350. And it is Google tv.

If I read correctly, the new qd7 models are also 120hz, so may be a slightly better version of last years U6.

55" is too big for my setup. Would love to go QM7, but the RGB articulating will only support up to 50" and roughly 20 lbs of weight.

The QQ7 2024 model is 144. But not 2025 models

For myself Id agree with you but there is plenty of market for 60hz. 75% of people wont notice the difference or dont game or watch sports for it to be that important. Things like local dimming>refresh rate for the majority of people.
