Price wise this is only the second time ever this router has gotten this cheap, the last time was at Xmas and it has not been back down to $399.99 since.
Router specs:
12-Stream 19 Gbps | 2×10G + 4×2.5G Ports, USB 3.0 | Turbo Acceleration, Dedicated Gaming Port & Panel, RGB Lighting | EasyMesh, HomeShield
This router is not for everyone, this is for those that want the extreme max of your 1+ Gig connections since it can handle up to 10 Gig WAN. This is targeted to gamers and competes against the Asus Rapture lines. This would also be for NAS power users as the 10gig port can clear any bottlenecks and increase passive performance even with spinner drives, as the 1gig port is the bottle neck in most NAS devices.
Dong called it the best router TP-Link ever made so the review was really good. Only thing better would be the $700 Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, which the lowest ever price was $630 for that model. This was top of the charts for most categories with only a few ASUS models beating it in wireless performance.

You have not provided anything to backup the argument that TP-link is an unsafe choice. Could you provide any links that contradict what PeteyTheStriker is arguing?
You switched to a worse performing product that cost you probably 3X as much to get setup, nice, lol!
Also dumb switches and spyware, lol, sorry will robinson but that danger is non existent and impossible.
Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U7 Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point, all work seamlessly over one UI (either web or app). Setting up VLANs took minutes, instead of spending days figuring it out on the TP-Link equipment. No regrets.
Here's the TP-Link managed switch, in case you want one: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-TL...r=8-3&th=1
For my .02, go Asus. The https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/ stuff is really good.
Current administration smooth compared to previous

Since then as pointed out TP-Link has fully removed itself from China and its corporate structure is now all US based... So again that narrative is going bust, but people like to parrot out of date talking points.

I don't get why you're butthurt over this guy, thank you for providing the information but you could have shown some grace providing the information instead of acting like you were being personally attacked
by the way, you should read the articles you linked.
they did not completely separate from china yet, it is only a plan right now. ALL of their current products have ties to China, all of them.

We don't use TP link in the military.
"TP-Link products are also found on U.S. military bases, with the Army & Air Force Exchange and the Navy Exchange selling these devices to members of the military and their families. An increasing number of outside researchers and analysts have identified specific concerns about the risks posed by TP-Link.Aug 15, 2024"
https://democrats-selectcommittee
"While TP-Link Omada Prohttps://www.tp-link.com/us/solution/mdu/ solutions are designed for multi-dwelling units and may be used in military housing, there's no clear indication that they are widely installed on all US military bases. Concerns about the use of TP-Link products, including routers, by the US military and in general have been raised due to potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities and ties to Chinese state-sponsored hacking. "
Not to mention federal agencies also use their products.
"TP-Link routers are also used in various federal agencies and by internet providers in the US. This raises concerns about the potential vulnerabilities of these devices and the possibility of them being exploited for cyberattacks. "
Now that the US government wants to ban them all of a sudden tplink wants to be a part of the anti-virus/security community. It's a funny joke like trusting the wolf to guard your sheep. Just don't be surprised when you are missing a few sheep everyday because someone gobbled them up overnight.

You mean the same vulnerabilities that both affect Asus and Ubiquiti, but just on a way smaller scale because their sales combined are not even close to half of TP-Links on a volume basis????
Please continue to be ignorant to real facts before you speak, its enjoyable correcting you parrots.
Rehash of old post from a few weeks ago.
"Already disproved the ridiculousness of people who say that TP-link does not update after a few months, but I will do it again for those that are not up to date.
"You dont say.... Just a few of the popular ones I can recall... BTW the same AX21 that the article references says it only happens on peoples routers who have not updated their firmware and they even point to the firmware page where to get the latest update to protect against it.... so yeah..... The update for that botnet attack was published last year so only people who don't update their firmware regularly would have been effected.. Good to get all the facts now isnt is...
Deco M9+ almost 7 years of support with the last firmware update in 2024 8/20.
Deco X60 over 4 years of support last update 2024.
Deco X90 same over 4 years of support last update 2024.
Archer AX72 Pro over 2 years of support last update 2024.
Archer AX21 over 5 years of support with the last firmware in January of 2025.
While all their routers dont get consistent firmware they usually do support their most popular for a long time. TP-Link also has improved on that front in the last few years.
Most companies like netgear and linksys do the same thing, usually only worry about the most popular models this is nothing new. Asus being one of the few that almost always updates all their product lines for longer than average."
As for this model AXE75 launched in 2023, ooh look a firmware update on 3/10/2025 there goes your few months comments. That goes for both V1 and V1.6 too."
