With Amazon Visa Prime card you get 20% additional back as found out and added by user below, bringing the Router to $320 lowest ever.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7MSQG4T

Price wise this is only the second time ever this router has gotten this cheap, the last time was at Xmas and it has not been back down to $399.99 since.

Router specs:

12-Stream 19 Gbps | 2×10G + 4×2.5G Ports, USB 3.0 | Turbo Acceleration, Dedicated Gaming Port & Panel, RGB Lighting | EasyMesh, HomeShield

This router is not for everyone, this is for those that want the extreme max of your 1+ Gig connections since it can handle up to 10 Gig WAN. This is targeted to gamers and competes against the Asus Rapture lines. This would also be for NAS power users as the 10gig port can clear any bottlenecks and increase passive performance even with spinner drives, as the 1gig port is the bottle neck in most NAS devices.

Dong called it the best router TP-Link ever made so the review was really good. Only thing better would be the $700 Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, which the lowest ever price was $630 for that model. This was top of the charts for most categories with only a few ASUS models beating it in wireless performance.

Can't be bringing new talking points without links bruv
Wouldn't it only be fair for you to have also replied to Klondike5-1212 asking for links as well? And shouldn't you have provided links too? Both you and Klondike5-1212 seemed to be in agreement, but neither of you provided any kind of links or proof. However, you were very quick to replay to the first counterargument by demanding links.

You have not provided anything to backup the argument that TP-link is an unsafe choice. Could you provide any links that contradict what PeteyTheStriker is arguing?

That whole narrative is going bust, as the US military uses TP-link products, the original ban has nothing to do with spyware but with price competition, and third TP-Link already created a parent company and transferring all aspects of its business to California as well as complied by all demands of the US government.... People just need to stop parroting old talking points without verifying their validity....

You switched to a worse performing product that cost you probably 3X as much to get setup, nice, lol!

Also dumb switches and spyware, lol, sorry will robinson but that danger is non existent and impossible.
It's a managed switch that was supporting multiple VLANs. The Ubiquiti equipment is faster. All the components installed (UDMSE, 24 port PoE switch, and the
Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U7 Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point, all work seamlessly over one UI (either web or app). Setting up VLANs took minutes, instead of spending days figuring it out on the TP-Link equipment. No regrets.

Here's the TP-Link managed switch, in case you want one: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-TL...r=8-3&th=1

I would be more willing to risk a TP link product if they had more open firmware options, it doesn't look like this one has that...

For my .02, go Asus. The https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/ stuff is really good.

No more TP-Link. US Government (prior to the current asinine administration) has determined it's got spyware in it. I've decommissioned my TP-Link 24 port switch and access point and replaced it all with Ubiquiti. I'll get around to selling my TP-Link stuff on Ebay at some point.

Current administration smooth compared to previous

You're right except this whole tp-link being investigated by Congress and the American government is fairly common knowledge at this point
Except there hasn't been any major investigation and the last time one was called for was August of last year with nothing happening from it. Even the latest articles on the subject matter state this is not about spyware but about politics of seeing TP-Link as a China company, even though its pretty much now fully based here and almost all of its equipment is made in Vietnam.

https://www.cnet.com/home/interne...-weigh-in/

Since then as pointed out TP-Link has fully removed itself from China and its corporate structure is now all US based... So again that narrative is going bust, but people like to parrot out of date talking points.

I don't get why you're butthurt over this guy, thank you for providing the information but you could have shown some grace providing the information instead of acting like you were being personally attacked

by the way, you should read the articles you linked.

they did not completely separate from china yet, it is only a plan right now. ALL of their current products have ties to China, all of them.

Same thing can be said for any piece of electronic. Also I did read the article and as mentioned everything is in motion, such as the move to the new Irvine California Global HQ. The Money is spent, and the ball is rolling.

We do on some military bases, as they were budgeted for remodels and equipment refreshes. See this shows how much some of you know. Directly from select committee . gov.

"TP-Link products are also found on U.S. military bases, with the Army & Air Force Exchange and the Navy Exchange selling these devices to members of the military and their families. An increasing number of outside researchers and analysts have identified specific concerns about the risks posed by TP-Link.Aug 15, 2024"

https://democrats-selectcommittee...0TP%2DLink.

"While TP-Link Omada Prohttps://www.tp-link.com/us/solution/mdu/ solutions are designed for multi-dwelling units and may be used in military housing, there's no clear indication that they are widely installed on all US military bases. Concerns about the use of TP-Link products, including routers, by the US military and in general have been raised due to potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities and ties to Chinese state-sponsored hacking. "

Not to mention federal agencies also use their products.

"TP-Link routers are also used in various federal agencies and by internet providers in the US. This raises concerns about the potential vulnerabilities of these devices and the possibility of them being exploited for cyberattacks. "

Tplink stops updating their firmware after a few months and then their hardware becomes a useless brick chocked full of vulnerabilities. You get what you pay for vs Asus or Ubiquiti and Tplink just stops support altogether as they would like you to keep buying their new model hardware. If you don't upgrade your device gets recruited into botnets that attack other websites or systems including government networks. Tplink support has always been non-existent.

Now that the US government wants to ban them all of a sudden tplink wants to be a part of the anti-virus/security community. It's a funny joke like trusting the wolf to guard your sheep. Just don't be surprised when you are missing a few sheep everyday because someone gobbled them up overnight.

Again another uninformed parrot, then how do you explain things like the M9+s and X60s and many other routers having updates to their firmware for 3+ years and counting....

You mean the same vulnerabilities that both affect Asus and Ubiquiti, but just on a way smaller scale because their sales combined are not even close to half of TP-Links on a volume basis????

Please continue to be ignorant to real facts before you speak, its enjoyable correcting you parrots.

Rehash of old post from a few weeks ago.

"Already disproved the ridiculousness of people who say that TP-link does not update after a few months, but I will do it again for those that are not up to date.

"You dont say.... Just a few of the popular ones I can recall... BTW the same AX21 that the article references says it only happens on peoples routers who have not updated their firmware and they even point to the firmware page where to get the latest update to protect against it.... so yeah..... The update for that botnet attack was published last year so only people who don't update their firmware regularly would have been effected.. Good to get all the facts now isnt is...

Deco M9+ almost 7 years of support with the last firmware update in 2024 8/20.

Deco X60 over 4 years of support last update 2024.

Deco X90 same over 4 years of support last update 2024.

Archer AX72 Pro over 2 years of support last update 2024.

Archer AX21 over 5 years of support with the last firmware in January of 2025.

While all their routers dont get consistent firmware they usually do support their most popular for a long time. TP-Link also has improved on that front in the last few years.

Most companies like netgear and linksys do the same thing, usually only worry about the most popular models this is nothing new. Asus being one of the few that almost always updates all their product lines for longer than average."

As for this model AXE75 launched in 2023, ooh look a firmware update on 3/10/2025 there goes your few months comments. That goes for both V1 and V1.6 too."
