The subwoofer of HW-Q990F is very underwhelming and considered worse than the D series. There are a lot of negative feedbacks on reddit. If space is not an issue, I'd go with 990D while it lasts. Not counting on the on-going tariffs will likely make the price increase.

If anyone is trying to get this soundbar, hopefully this code still works (it worked today 5/10). It may expire 5/11, I'm not sure.

Just received the unit and contacted CS for 10% immediately😂. Pretty painless process. The rep said this offer is automatically generated when a customer asks for a refund for this model.

Could you share the process you did? I was only about to get it for 800 pre-tax and would love to get an extra 10 percent back. Thanks

Sure there's no trick. I said the unit is not up to my expectation and I'm considering a refund. They put me on hold and said to offer 10% refund to keep the order.

Seems dead for me now, was $809 yesterday, but today it's $1000. 25SPRINGSAVE10 code doesn't work now either. I'll be on the lookout for when it drops again. Maybe for memorial Day weekend?

I don't think so because it's just been discounted but you can pray or maybe eBay will do a sale.

mine came with a gash in the subwoofer grill thing so i think i am getting $72 back according to chat, taking my pre-tax total to $648. not too shabby.
