Does anyone know just how many bros there are? I keep playing and they keep rolling out more bros and it's fantastic!
Sort of, in the sense that it's a side-scrolling, platforming and shooting.

The game is much more chaotic. You have a team of Bros (which are all references to famous action movie characters). You don't really have the option to select which one you use, and they essentially act as your 'lives'. When one Bro gets killed, the next one drops in. And you can rescue more.

Each Bro has their own abilities, so they play a bit differently. For example, the Indiana Jones character can use a whip, and the Rocketman character can fly, and the MacGuyver character can drop explosives, etc.

The environment is destructable, which is the source of the chaos. Stuff gets blown up, and that triggers chain reactions of explosions and causes rocks to fall from the ceiling, which crush you. A lot of times you die, it's just random stuff like that.

It's a fun game. But you're probably not going to sink a lot of time into it.

As a human male in America who was in grade school when all these characters came out this was the best game ever and the only game I've played three times in two decades.

It's Contra if Contra had been built inside Minecraft.

Fun game. Kept me interested the whole time. Got to the very end but couldn't beat it. Still had a blast.

So many hours spent both solo and with bros on the couch just trying to not accidentally create a death pit for them to fall into.

Easily worth $3 let alone $20+

I agree with everybody else, it does a decent job of scratching the contra itch. It has co-op and there is a demo called "Expendabros" if you want to try it.

My three kids & I have enjoyed many hours of game play when they were in elementary & junior high.
