Yep, and I remember all the down votes and thread crapping when gold was less than $1200/oz and silver was less than $14/oz and you could buy on eBay and earn rewards to boot

35-45%? Microsoft cashback on ebay... those were the days. I want to say buying gold coins around then would've been like $500-600 an ounce after cashback?

During my dubai trip, bought 22k GOLD 12.48 gram chain for $1100 total price. would have costed me $1600 here in USA including tax and making charge.
