  • Access both long- and short-term radon results straight to your smartphone app via Bluetooth or easily generate a radon report through the Airthings dashboard.
  • Simply wave in front of the device to receive a color-coded visual indicator of the overall air quality: Green (Good), Yellow (Fair), Red (Poor).
  • Airthings Wave Plus works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT (if, this then that)
  • Wave Radon can be added to a network of Airthings devices* (purchased separately) for multi-room monitoring. *Must be used with an Airthings hub product such as View Plus, View Radon, View Pollution, or Airthings Hub.
  • Wave Radon is a battery-powered, smart radon detector that monitors radon gas, temperature, and humidity in real-time.
  • Airthings Wave Radon, 2 AA batteries, Quick Start Guide, Airthings Support & optional and (free) extended warranty to increase your standard product warranty to five years.

The latest firmware killed any chance at real time or close to real time monitoring.

AirThings support is unhelpful and just keeps referring to their new app, when their older app is still available and works much better.

If you want smart features, get the Wave Plus.

But after dealing with their support, I'd try a different brand all together.
noticed these a few days ago - judging by the stock numbers, i'm expecting these to be discoumted again - like half this or even lower.

There's a reason for that. These units are notoriously unreliable. Technicians recommend the Corentium Home Radon Detector if you plan to do this at home. It's basically as good as it gets short of getting the professional grade detectors.

I bought the Corentium to validate the results from the Wave and after cross checking with other brands in addition to doing a mail-in test, I don't recommend going with AirThings at all anymore.

Results can be severely skewed by something as simple as a change in humidity. Anytime the central air was on, the numbers would spike as if radon was being pumped in.

The numbers it reports don't coincide at all with the EPA estimates for the area and would make someone in the Midwest want to install a second mitigation kit.
