Yeah not sure what this person is thinking. Just got at and it's marginally brighter than a ge one that was a frontpage deal a month back. Which is to say it's plenty bright. So far I'm impressed with this thing. I like how it has ambient awareness to adjust to the room at all times of the day. Not bad for $2.5 each
