I have the 1,500 lbs version that I bought off Temu for like half price. That has a 2"x2" tubing. This one may be thicker so finding attachments may be more difficult. Not sure. This is the model that I have, seems to be on sale as well:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mikolo.../611798458

I've set it up in my garage and have been regularly using it since November. My lifts are around 305 squat, 350 deadlift, 275 bench. The rack can handle those weights fine. If you regularly lift double that, I would look at a proper full size rack. If you push it from the side with the weights on, it can wobble a little bit so it is not as rock steady as a proper power cage but holds up well for a home gym. Holds stable for pull ups or dips. The rack is only half length deep, so it is a bit more restrictive for squats inside the cage but I was able to adapt and don't find it an issue.

Cable rows are great. Pulleys are plastic but seem to hold up well. If they wear out, you can upgrade to aluminum ones. If you want high quality hooks for it, look into the Kipika brand. Expensive but great quality. If you plan to use it regularly, it should pay for itself over time. Free weights, barbell and bench are not included, so you'll have to spend on those as well.
No, but I think using it on a fence would be very dangerous.
If you order from Temu or Shein at this point, make sure it ships from a US warehouse. Otherwise, the importer (you) might be on the hook to pay the 145%+ tariffs when it enters the country. A lot of import businesses will close now, so don't get scammed.

Not sure of the quality on this brand but if you feel good about it, I wouldn't waste time paying for the smith machine version. There is a reason its cheaper. All it does is train you to lift with bad form and doesn't give you the stabilization training you would need in everyday life.
This one is a better option for a few hundred more.

Is there a reasonably priced version out there with a weight stack?

Not sure if there are any left? You have missed the boat a bit. They've been liquidating inventory all winter. These Mikolo cages used to sell for over $800 just last year. The company is likely going out of business now.

If it is not inside the US, it might as well not exist at this point. For tariffs, it is the country of origin that matters, so you will pay China tariffs on import. Good chance these businesses will mail whatever inventory they have left in China warehouses, then let you deal with customs. Walmart is probably your safest option at this point.

So your intended use of this is to do 3 sets of lifting the entire rack 12x?

I've gone through 3 smith machine power rack cage so far. If you have space at the back it will be easier to change the weight plates. but if you're like me with bare minimum space, i'd recommend getting something with a built in weighted stack weights [amazon.com]. for the price this one is Good for a garage. Unless you're training to become the next Mr. Olympia, then I recommend you go get the top Brands.

It is the exact same brand, the pulleys have been upgraded from a plastic to an aluminum. Everything else is the same.

You can find aluminum pulleys another sites for a whole lot cheaper, then just swap them out when you're installing it. Looking on other sites, it looks like it takes 18-21 pulleys in total

How do you find out where the seller ships from?

You can't with 100% certainty.

Currently it shows the delivery window between April 25th and May 5th. If it goes past May 2nd you'd be on the hook for the tariffs. Shein gives you the option to receive 500 points if they don't deliver it within the window stated, but that just leaves more crap to buy with tariffs applied

On Temu, it will state that the product ships from a local warehouse inside the country. Whether that is true or false, who knows. If you are willing to roll the dice, here is an example from Ormaise Fitness Club that promises delivery in 3 days. With a coupon you can bring the price down further.

They sell a good 1,500ft capacity matching barbell as well for around $100 that is high quality.

I chatted with one of shein's reps. They said this products ships from the US. I don't know if I believe it but I'm taking a chance. 😰 It says it will be delivered to my address by May 1st anyway.

I bought the Mikolo M4 from Temu back in January. It is a great machine and I would 100% buy it again! If your thinking of buying one I suggest you check out Temu prices (only buy if shipped from local warehouse to avoid any tariffs!) You can find it for $650 on Temu but you can easily spend $20 and get $100 or $150 off $500+ purchase coupon making it a super slick deal. If your wondering Temu's return policy is just as easy as Walmart's or Amazons but you can return to Temu for up to 90 days!! So much longer time period to check if any issues will develop!
