For gaming specifically I don't think anyone wants this particular processor. Think of this build as a $1500 GPU with a computer thrown in. Is the computer worth $750? Yup. Therein lies the deal.
You can't just drop that without explaining, haha.
My ex girlfriend was not a sane person.

Sorry to be the ignorant one, but could someone PM me the popular CB site that is offering 12% for Dell? The one I usually frequent is 5% for Dell now, but only 2% for desktops.
Which CB site is everyone referring to? The one that starts with —RA— and ends in —TEN.com?
Does anyone actually get their $$$ from that site? I've had over $900 pending from Dell from January and it says payout isn't until AUG 2025. I hate CB sites -- they never payout (in my experience) or come up with some excuse how you didn't DIRECTLY visit the site from their link. Scammers...

Yeah, going through your credit card shopping portal is way more reliable. Plus banks customer service are way more accommodating if there's any issue.

I was wondering the same thing. If you find out, can you or someone else PM me the same? Would greatly appreciate it!

There isn't one at the moment. You just have to wait and hope it comes back while there's a deal on and have your 10% ready to go (they don't expire for many months when you request one). The site I used to get 13% on Monday night, which is the "top" site as far as I'm concerned, is currently "up to 5%", but it's only 1% for Alienware desktops. There are 2 other sites I see currently @2%. For better or worse, the fact that it was 13% at the time and they said it was about to end is what made me order.
As far as I know, there are only like 3 or 4 reliable sites. If people are talking about cash back and you're not seeing it, odds are good that their comments are just out of date and you (or they) don't realize it.
Walmart, ever the purveyor of disappointment, shuns this deal, leaving my ample gift card credit doomed to fund tomorrow's Switch 2 pre-order. Fiscal irony at its finest.
why? dont suck into the AMD hype if you are not getting it cheap. You are in the 99.0% consumers who will be fine with either of these high end processors
These Intels have one awesome thing about them, seemingly zero heat. I had an Omen 45L w/ a 5090 and the 9 285K something and that thing was dead silent w/ zero perceptible heat coming out of the case when not under load. This gen of Intel is nice and cool
I ended up canceling my order. As much as 2100ish after cashback and taxes is a good deal for the GPU/CPU combo, with the case limitations, it's not worth it for me.
I've had an R11 for the last few years. I currently have 5 storage drives in it. With this case (and I actually really like the way these look compared to the crazy RGB hideousness of most gaming desktops), you're limited to 4 (and sounds like you have to jerryrig one of them). But the biggest issue with these Alienware cases is how they limit your GPU length.
The R11 limits you to a 267mm GPU in length. That means no 5080 or 9700XT. The best I can do is some specific 2 fan version of the 5070, which is basically the same as the 3080 I have right now. This one limits you to more than that obviously, but GPUs aren't getting any smaller. You probably won't be able to upgrade to anything in a year or two.
Think I'll just wait until the Area 51 goes on a much steeper sale. These cases seem to be a lot more friendly to upgrades. Just gonna repaste this noisy ass 3080 in the meantime.

This deal comes with a 5080 in it. Why are you saying a 5080 won't fit?

Here here. Good for throwing around the sack until they throw your computer out the window.
