For gaming specifically I don't think anyone wants this particular processor. Think of this build as a $1500 GPU with a computer thrown in. Is the computer worth $750? Yup. Therein lies the deal.
You can't just drop that without explaining, haha.
My ex girlfriend was not a sane person.

So for anyone checking out this thread, the deal showed up the best for me as of today. I actually ended up buying the Best Buy CyberPowerPC with the 5070 TI earlier this week because I could not get the CB or Amex deal to work for this Alienware. Fast forward to today, and my Amex card (Amex Blue Cash Everyday) just added a "spend $500 or more at Dell.com, get $100 back" deal to the rewards section (which wasn't there days ago), so added that. MAKE SURE YOU ADD IT TO YOUR CARD FIRST. Then the popular CB site (R...ten) upped the CB for dell.com to 12%. The 10% Dell subscription also coupon still worked, and there is the "Dell cash" reward for purchases as well. So here was my cost breakdown:
Initial Price: $2500
w/ Sub Coupon: $2250
w/ Tax: $2392.88
What did people use for cash back? I am only seeing 5%
One of the "top" sites I'm seeing is back to 13% cash back as of this morning. Combining a 10% coupon with cash back and possible credit card offers to bring this (potentially significantly) under $2K I think makes this the best deal there has been on a high end desktop of any that I've seen by a good bit.
Did the deal just die? I went to use the cb site and now the discount isn't reflecting

Doesn't the coupon negate the cash back? Has anyone ever received the cash back using a coupon in combination with the *Top site?

No, definitely not. I've combined coupons with cash back at Dell many times, including on this deal (though granted in this case the CB is pending - I haven't received it yet.

I actually save $95 over what I had spent for the other Best Buy build, since Best Buy CB excludes desktops.

Which is significantly pricer, comes out to about 2,700 with CB and an amex discount on my end.
If anyone can tell me if those Specs would be worth the price I might consider it though, I'm bummed about missing this one
