This is a fantastic book that I read over a year in Nintendo Power in the 90's and a couple years ago when I bought it and the companion Zelda book at full price. My daughter and I loved them. If you like the Bros. at all this is a no-brainer.

This is a fantastic book that I read over a year in Nintendo Power in the 90's and a couple years ago when I bought it and the companion Zelda book at full price. My daughter and I loved them. If you like the Bros. at all this is a no-brainer.

Man, I wish someone had the old Valiant comics based on Super Mario Bros. They weren't, uh, good, but they had some of the endearing cheesiness of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show cartoons.

Me too, I loved the Valiant comics. Used to have a big collection of them as a kid and read it many times.
