I work in nice upper middle working class neighborhood all homes $1 million plus.
This is time of year is when people upgrade from their 10 yr old grills. Even in homes a few 100k less. Can't hurt to look around. This week and next.
if you a renter or looking for 2nd grill vs one expensive large one. Save a few hundred $ if get lucky. After a season outside a new Weber quickly looks same as many 5yr old ones but work same.
I already have 2 grills but have a pickup so easy to toss this in back. Turns out it was even clean. Only igniter did not work.
Basic cast iron grates and porcelain flavorizer bars but quickly over 500 degrees.
I'll change it igniter maybe and give to someone. I
love steelmade brand griddle to drop on top. Us steel and made in KS. Seems to work perfectly
It's shocking how much lighter the grills from the last 10 yrs are.
My oldest Weber is probably 20 lbs heavier.
That said, I just saw a new Genesis 435 at Ace Hardware and it seems to be built a lot better than my Genesis 410.
Is the current year model of Genesis going to be redesigned anytime soon? I noticed Spirit line and Slate line all have Weber Works.
