I called gamestop today, in store pre orders $50. Bestbuy requires charge of price. Not sure about other retailers, gonna try my luck in store and payoff at midnight release.
Set yourself up with a retro console.

I've never seen a single "high-information" comment on SD. The mean age is 50 on the app and every discussion leads to :
A. Angry the deal company is anti-Trump / 'unAmerican'.
B. Angry luxury items cost a luxury, thus not making it worth it.
C. Neckie beardies screaming over a loss of pixels/HDMI port/ some small downgrade from the deal item.
It's a thread of Switch adults, and I'm sure at least 5 need a visit from Chris Hanson.
I don't see myself getting one, but my HS son wants one.

2.2 Million is a lot for Japan. Their allocation is not as big as USA and what's known is NOA has 1 million stockpiled in a warehouse or two for launch in June plus more shipments coming in by that time. So I'm going to assume something like a 1.5 million unit launch in USA. There is a lot of negativity on the Switch 2 but there are also so many indicators that it's going to be a lot wanting to buy it on launch day. Micro SD Express cards 512GB and 1TB are sold out but that can be an indicator that it's mostly people with a lot of disposable income. It would be like an Nvidia card where everyone says the price sucks and youtubers say it's not worth the asking price but it sells out anyways.

Yeah. The original super NES sold for $299 back in the 1990s. That's about $700 today. It's cheaper relative to inflation.
Games were $60 since 2000 and have barely moved up to $70 recently. Video games are still cheap compared to other stuff
