Wolfbox is durable and still working great. It saved me without having to argue with insurance company twice already.
I use three of this with Endurance MicroSC card.

This dashcam cannot be used as normal rear view glass as this is constantly recording. The only way to use this as normal rear view is stop recording.

Can someone using this already should be able to give feedback. I would like to know to get a confirmation too before I purchase!

I don't know directly about this one, but I have a Pelsee and one can set the screen timeout to 1 min and it goes dark (reflective).
[Edit to add: I just looked in the manual for the Wolfbox one and it does have a screen saver (dark) mode: OFF/1min/ 2min/3min If you do not touch the screen for the set time, the screen will turn off, but the device will continue to record.]
It depends on your car. On my Trax it was easy to run the wire around the trim and weather trim. It already has a backup camera so i did not install the trigger wire for the backup camera on the dash cam.

I'm not a DIY type as I would probably cause damage to the car trying to install the rear camera so I would need to have it professionally installed. On that note, once the wiring is installed, is the wiring standard so that if the dashcam was replaced with another one from different manufacturer, could the existing wiring be used or will the old one need to be removed and new wiring installed?

It's easy to do, even if you're not a DIY type person, all you need is a multimeter to tell when a fuse of your car is "on" or "off" when the car is powered or not. YouTube has you covered
If that's too daunting, might be worth a check to see if Best Buy has an install deals when you buy a dashcam from them

Thanks! Is there a particular YT video you recommend?
Bestbuy charges $99 to install DashCams not purchased from BestBuy
I had it installed in a 2007 accord. Now it's in my 2017 Subaru forester.
