Google Fi Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 Promo – Full Breakdown (With and Without Financing)
---
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Pixel 9 Pro
$300 off instantly
Remaining $699 credited back over 24 months
Pixel Watch 3
$100 off via promo code (after phone ships)
Remaining $349 credited back over 24 months
Total Monthly Credits:
$29.12 (Pixel 9 Pro) + $14.54 (Watch 3) = $43.66/month
---
GOOGLE FI PLAN:
Unlimited Essentials Plan: $35/month
You must keep the line active and in good standing for 24 months to get all credits
---
OPTION A – PAY UPFRONT (NO HARD CREDIT PULL)
At Checkout:
Pay $699 for Pixel 9 Pro (after $300 discount)
Pay $349 for Pixel Watch 3 (after $100 discount)
Pay sales tax upfront on both
No financing, so NO hard credit check
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Credit: $43.66
Result: Your plan is fully covered and you get ~$8.66 extra per month, which can be used toward taxes or other fees (but doesn't roll over or get refunded)
Best for: People avoiding a credit check and okay paying upfront
---
OPTION B – FINANCE THE DEVICES (HARD CREDIT PULL REQUIRED)
At Checkout:
Pay $0 for the devices (except taxes)
Finance Pixel 9 Pro ($29.12/mo)
Finance Pixel Watch 3 ($14.54/mo)
This triggers a HARD credit pull
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Devices: $43.66
Credit: $43.66
Result: You still just pay $35/month total — credits cancel out the device payments
Best for: People who prefer monthly payments and don't mind a hard inquiry
---
AFTER 24 MONTHS:
You own both devices
Bill credits stop
You continue paying for the Google Fi plan ($35/mo unless changed)
Any leftover credit in a month does not carry over or get refunded
---
TL;DR:
You can avoid a hard credit pull only if you pay for BOTH the phone and watch upfront
You'll still get $43.66/month in credits, which more than covers the $35/mo plan
Any extra credit each month can only be used that month, no rollovers or payouts
Financing either device = hard pull

Link for trial (no SIM needed, uses an eSIM and lets you swap between your current carrier than fi for specific things (calls/sms/data) which makes it even better/easier to test out:
https://fi.google.com/about/free-trial
The only thing that concerns me still, after talking with a customer rep: Return window is only 15d and does not include "if you're not happy, no questions asked" type stuff. It has to be due to very specific circumstances for them to accept a return (it being faulty, doa, etc). So you better be sure about the commitment before you buy because if you change your mind "just because" within 15d you're SOL.

Crazy that Verizon's supposed to have the largest coverage and they don't. Map says my whole area is 5G covered and it's a lie because it's a deadzone where I'm at. I'm very picky with what I get because I'm cheap, lol. I usually wait around for the best deal I can get, and I decided to bite on this deal. Free top of the line phone and matching smartwatch, just pay $20-$35 monthly for the service, which I was already paying more than that with T-Mobile's assholes raising prices. I was with Sprint SERO for years at $35 a month unlimited everything including Hulu and Tidal, then T-Mobile had to take over and promised loyal Sprint customers that they wouldn't raise prices or change their plans, well they lied on both counts. T-Mobile has been nothing but a headache. Sprint was the best, never had a problem with them. Damn I miss them.
I have my mother on my Verizon plan w/ the $10/mo per line discount, so after 2 years if Fi is more expensive I'll just move back over and pick back up on that discount/deal w/ the Pixel 9.

I too have felt the wrath of "we promise we'll do something and then we don't" with service providers. I was locked in to a $35/mo 400Mbps internet plan that was labeled as "For Life" -- I moved, they claimed the area didn't have 400Mbps and they had to drop me down to 300Mbps which got me out of that for life pricing, literally two days after moving and setting up the internet, they email me to upsell a 400Mbps plan ... Then they refused to put me back on the for life pricing, said it was impossible, so I called about 30x and kept complaining and they agreed to give me 500Mbps for $40/m for two years ... which I accepted, and then 1 year later they tried to change the pricing to $60/mo .... I call again, they say oh we fixed it, that lasted one billing cycle then back to $60/mo ... called again, and again, and again, finally got them back down to $40/mo but only after they made it seem like I should be grateful that they made an exception for me ... I hate these companies but they've got us by the junk and they know it.

"Phone and watch activation for monthly bill credits required by 30 days of shipment confirmation and must be active 24 months to get full value of the promotion."
Does that mean the watch has to be active for the full 24 months?
DOING SO MAKES YOU INELIGIBLE FOR THIS DEAL AS IT CONSIDERS YOU AN EXISTING FI CUSTOMER -- Customer support did NOT mention this at all when they recommended I try the 7d trial.
I assume you can work around this by using a separate google account for the order, subscription, etc, but that's not ideal for most people. That's absolutely ridiculous ... and customer support says there's nothing to be done about it.....
Tried many different providers (but no fi)but AT&T seems to work best compared to others.
