Here's everything you need to know about Google Fi's Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 deal, whether you're paying upfront or financing. I also include credit pull details and monthly costs so you can decide if it's right for you.
Google Fi Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 Promo – Full Breakdown (With and Without Financing)
You must keep the line active and in good standing for 24 months to get all credits
---
OPTION A – PAY UPFRONT (NO HARD CREDIT PULL)
At Checkout:
Pay $699 for Pixel 9 Pro (after $300 discount)
Pay $349 for Pixel Watch 3 (after $100 discount)
Pay sales tax upfront on both
No financing, so NO hard credit check
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Credit: $43.66
Result: Your plan is fully covered and you get ~$8.66 extra per month, which can be used toward taxes or other fees (but doesn't roll over or get refunded)
Best for: People avoiding a credit check and okay paying upfront
---
OPTION B – FINANCE THE DEVICES (HARD CREDIT PULL REQUIRED)
At Checkout:
Pay $0 for the devices (except taxes)
Finance Pixel 9 Pro ($29.12/mo)
Finance Pixel Watch 3 ($14.54/mo)
This triggers a HARD credit pull
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Devices: $43.66
Credit: $43.66
Result: You still just pay $35/month total — credits cancel out the device payments
Best for: People who prefer monthly payments and don't mind a hard inquiry
---
AFTER 24 MONTHS:
You own both devices
Bill credits stop
You continue paying for the Google Fi plan ($35/mo unless changed)
Any leftover credit in a month does not carry over or get refunded
---
TL;DR:
You can avoid a hard credit pull only if you pay for BOTH the phone and watch upfront
You'll still get $43.66/month in credits, which more than covers the $35/mo plan
Any extra credit each month can only be used that month, no rollovers or payouts
Just curious, if you take advantage of both the phone and watch offers, the up front cost (after discounts) is $1050 ($700 for the 9 Pro phone + $350 for the Pixel Watch) . ($1050 / 24 months) = $43.75. If the plan is $35 a month, are they sending you a check for $8.35 each month? I suspect hidden fees and taxes consume the remaining $8.35, but I can't imagine you would be paying much after credits. So you would be paying for the phone and watch and basically getting service for 2 years for "free". No clue if this is a deal.
Update with my current order for this promotion I received my Google Pixel 9 Pro after it shipped, and shortly after, I got an email promotion offering a $100 instant discount and a $349.99 credit to my Google Fi account. I had previously tried to use the Pixel Watch 3 promotion code, but my payment was declined due to Google Payments requiring ID verification. While the verification was still under review, the order was canceled by Google.I contacted Google Fi customer service, and they confirmed—after checking with their upper department three times—that the Pixel Watch 3 promotion code can be reused. Right now, I'm waiting for the Google Payments team to complete the ID verification and unlock my account, which may take 3–4 days. Once that's done, I'll reorder using the same promotion code, as advised by customer service.Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Feel free to share—thanks!
I have a similar problem. Let me know if you were actually able to reuse the code.
I went with this deal and just got my first bill. No credits, just full payments. I googled around a bit and the google fi user forums said that this is "normal" to not get your device credits on the first bill?
Can someone confirm what their google fi app says if they went with this deal?
Got the watch, and it's not functioning as intended. Now I have a hold of full price on my card while I wait for them to receive mine back, and it says in the RMA email I received a refurbished one may be sent as a replacement. I shouldn't have to pay $374 for a refurbished watch because the one sent to me was broken. Fingers crossed that isn't the case, gonna lose my mind if it is.
Definitely the one with Magsafe compatibility! That way you can use it with everything magsafe
I went with this one. I've used this exact type and brand for my pixel 2, 5, 7, and now 9. It's survived loads of drops and I love the kickstand. Wireless charging works fine as well. https://a.co/d/3KPRgDJ

I just checked my billing. It properly assigned the credits and the bill was $0.00

Got my first bill today, and the balance is $0.00.
I have 2 $100 codes for the pixel watch that I won't be using. Let me know if any of you can use them.
Not all heroes wear capes!
Wouldn't it better for you to use the codes and get the watches, as that's what makes this deal "so good" -- whereby buying the watch, you get the full monthly credit. Currently if you do this deal and don't do the watch, you only get "half" essentially. Otherwise you'd get the full credit, and at the end of the two years have two "free" watches so to speak.
The only "downside" to this deal was that I couldn't simply sell the watch immediately (much prefer my GW7) and have to keep this watch on my plan for 2yr in order to get the full credits.
But, given that the PW1 is still selling for roughly $50, you would be able to net an additional $100 cashback on selling them two years from now.
Either way, you rock for offering the codes to someone, and I hope they can find use in them!

Agree on all your points. Unfortunately, Google approved me credit enough only for 2 9 Pros so that meant that I have pay >$750 upfront for the 2 watches and wait 2 years to be fully reimbursed for them. I have no need for the watches and would have still availed this promo if I didn't have to pay anything upfront.
I would be grateful. I somehow screwed my code by cancelling the order
I had a similar issue due to declining my payment they canceled the order and once I verified and changed the credit card order went through and now the code is Screweed and not working can someone help me with the code if they have extra and not using it.

I canceled my wife's watch order because I accidently purchased on my account. When I tried to use the code on her account it didn't work.
Google Fi support is awful. They keep saying someone will contact me to fix it, but no one does.
If by any chance you got this deal and your not gonna use the watch code, if you could send it privately to me I would really appreciate it.
Or if you know if there's anything I can do to reuse my code, please let me know as well.

For the watch I got this one and I like it:

The band sucks, and it was uncomfortable so I went with this band and it felt great.
