This unit on amazon is actually really nice, has low voltage cutoff etc. usbc is limited to 30w and it doesn't do charging, but i've taken it apart and the pcb is nice quality.

12V USBC PD isn't an official mode included by a lot of chargers so using the buck converter to a cigarette lighter adapter is probably a better way to go than relying on a 12V PD adapter.

If you have ryobi, this is better than all of the options:

I have also seen references to a parasitic draw on the official dewalt model and it will kill batteries if left attached for long periods.

These things have a wildly high failure rate. Had to return mine after it failed within a week of purchase. Would avoid until it's below $30. Risk is just too high that you'll end up with a useless piece of kit once it gets out of the warranty period.

Still would like to see this a few bucks lower but it's getting into tempting territory for use with my Pinecil. Really wish they'd sell just the clip by itself instead of with a cable and lower power USBC PD block I don't need.

If you are ok with 3rd party adapters, there are a few of those simple ones for $30-$50 range.

I have this and sadly if you leave it attached to a battery it will drain it. Tried several different Dewalt batteries with same results.

Can you convert the USB charger using adapter for 220v?
The charger is able to take 220v.

Regarding the adapter, I took my first one apart out of curiosity and discovered a partially melted postive wire. I suspect it is due to the postive wire laying on top of a chip that heats up. I returned it and wrapped the new one in kapton tape where it touches the chip. I use it frequently to charge a laptop when I'm mobile.

I've seen a Euro version with a PowerStack battery and a 100W power brick. All the early marketing materials showed it with a 100W brick here in the USA too but they had to change it for some reason. Maybe they ran into a regulatory issue with the 100W wall adapter.

Please don't ever work with electricity. Just kidding, but seriously no, this cannot be made to take in, nor put out 220AC...
You're wrong. An inverter can convert DC to AC and a transformer can change your voltage to whatever you want. Now I'm not saying that's what you should do nor is it a smart thing to do, but it's possible if you really want to. Don't blame me if your device or house catch on fire though

Anyone who asks if a 20v battery can put out 220 should be told no it cannot, regardless of if it can! Lol. Can you survive jumping off the roof? Yes, but to my 6yo the answer is always no.
