I have this, bought it because it seemed like a helpful product. But turned out somewhat disappointing. It doesn't produce enough torque to really get many jobs done quickly as I hoped. Ended up putting it down and just doing some chores by hand.
I have this too and bought it a couple of years ago when it was cheaper and came with 6 additional brushes free. While I agree that it takes longer than I'd like it to, I use it to scrub the shower stalls as well as the toilet. There are also optional brushes with soft, medium, and hard bristles or different sizes to fit the job at hand. I would not recommend using the hard brush on surfaces that may scratch. If you're not fastidious about cleaning, a water line develops in the toilet bowl and is very difficult to remove. Same goes for the grout in showers. I find this fits the bill. Additionally, after cleaning the shower stall, I shower and use it to clean spots that I may have missed. Great since it's waterproof. Shortcoming of this type of machine is that it doesn't reach corners and doesn't do well where walls meet. At this price point I think it's a good deal. Haven't seen it cheaper in quite a while.
I have found that pumice sticks work pretty well for getting rid of hard water stains on the toilet bowl. they are relatively cheap and easy to use without much hard scrubbing.

Bar Keeper's Friend (liquid paste) also works, but you must dry the bowl first.

I like this, wish I had got the one with the pole though. cleaning the shower standing up would be a lot better.

I don't have any issues with the torque, using the black hard bristle for the tub. The drill attachments do work better because they spin so much faster, but they also sling cleaning products everywhere, and are unruly with the variable speed trigger.

this is great for the overall scrub, then hit with high force hand brush or magic eraser for the super tough spots.

What is a brush with drill bit on it? That's what I use.

I have this too. Not enough torque and no variable speed.

I bet the as seen on tv powered scrub brushes for 30 work better.

I can't agree with the people saying it doesn't have enough torque. I use it to clean our bathtubs, showers, sinks, and under the bath mat. It works great, cleans quickly without damaging them, and if it gets caught up it will whip your wrist around, so not really sure how much more torque you would want.

Makes cleaning quick and easy, it's waterproof so you can rinse down as you go or even take it in the shower with you. IMO better than a drill because you couldn't take a drill in the shower with you and also my wife wouldn't want to use such a setup.

You give your wife the power tools to clean.

I bought it because I clean the bathrooms. 🤨

What if you have to clean a toilet with "liquid paste" already in it?

Not only is the Low speed and torque and issue, but the biggest issue is it uses proprietary brush heads that are stupid expensive compared to the other Ryobi hex shank brushes.

Only thing it has going for it is being waterproof

I don't know what you're trying to say. We both clean the bathrooms with this tool.

I just use a cheap walmart set of car wash brushes to clean my shower on a regular cordless drill. Has tons of power and does a great job. I have a long extension that I use with a flat brush to clean the floor, save my back and knees.
+1 to the thread because I did use the promo code for a new chainsaw with free shipping.

Yep! That works great for that. I used the Pumie scouring stick at the local wallyworld, but it is the same essentially.

I tried the pole version some years ago, very disappointed in the torque, returned. Reading what people are saying here I see a mixed bag and I'm wondering if perhaps they redesigned it?
