As an original model y owner, this is such a joke. Polestar will give me 20k off their car if I trade in my model y and tesla is emailing me with a 2k offer!?? What bozo turd nugget came up with this idea in their marketing team? Someone that has never worked in loyalty or customer service and doesn't know "what is trending " in the market right now obviously.

This is just plain bad. Not worth the $10k depreciation you get right out of the parking lot

Tell me more. 20k off and what ever the trade in value is? I was holding off getting rid of my Y until the rivian r2.

I hope you buy a Polestar and report back with your long-term review. Would like to see a real life review and not from someone who was given a Polestar as a review unit.

Yes polestar is offering 20k as a Tesla conquest (20k includes other incentives) but you don't even have to trade the car in. Debating going to the dealership today

Disappointed in the battery range, they were hyping it up to be 380-400miles and its basically the exact same as the older Y. Its a nice upgrade if its your first Tesla as in interior/suspension is better, but not worth it for original Y owners hence the incentive already as people arent lining up to upgrade as they thought

I love my Tesla 3, but I would never buy an EV again.

EVs should be leased....with the $7500 incentive, there are great deals out there where you don't have the risk of having your car depreciate 50% in three years.

And, yes, I know virtually all cars depreciate. But not that much!

Or drive it until the wheels fall off. I agree, don't buy an EV and expect good resale value.

With Tesla now obviously you won't get much due to low demand and high used car inventory
Seems to be same goes for the new ones as well, this Model Y just came up already discount
and inventory available.

Why would anyone want to switch away from Tesla? FSD for the last year is good enough that my daily morning commute turns into more free time to watch live tv on my phone.
