If a vegan even remotely thought these bars would be an option, I'd advise they should rethink being a vegan.

I think most of these taste good, but please note they are pretty small compared to most protein bars at 1.41 oz (compared to Quest at 2.12 oz, Barebells at 1.94, "One" at 2.12, etc.)

I didn't take it from the picture, I copied it from the Additional details section of the listing.

Fair enough. Seems like one of them is probably incorrect

They're not literally poison, but you're right to be skeptical. Maltitol can cause digestive issues and spike blood sugar. Processed soy isn't great, and erythritol has some research linking it to possible blood clot risks (not fully proven). Most cheap protein bars are just ultra-processed junk — better to limit them or find cleaner options.

I recently found out about https://darylsbars.com/

It's a canadian company and they have some really clean protein bars. Obviously not as tasty as a Quest bar, but its nice to not worry about maltitol and/or erythritol in those quantities, especially given the albeit very preliminary research about increased clot risks
