When you're working on sections (ie fastening the vertical post to the foot) don't tighten everything down firmly until you have all of the bolts through. The holes don't line up perfectly.
Smallest bolts - fasten the 6 horizontal slat pieces into the 6 9" rectangular tubes.
Middle sized bolts - fasten the 2 vertical slanted pieces to the 2 feet.
Large bolts - fasten the 2 vertical slanted pieces into the 6 9" rectangular tubes.
