Edge has better camera too
Where did you read the Edge has better image quality? I did not like the Edge's camera image IQ but it's not bad. This site says the A35 has better IQ. I'm very happy with my A35 that shows very good fine detail: http://www.gizmochina.com/2025/02...xy-a35-5g/ "The Samsung Galaxy A35 produces better colors and retains more detail than Edge (2024). It also does a better job in low-light conditions. The Motorola phone has a higher-resolution ultrawide camera with autofocus that doubles as a macro camera. The Galaxy A35's ultrawide camera lacks autofocus, though. Overall, the Galaxy A35 comes at the top as far as the camera is concerned". The A35 also betters the Moto in performance (measurements in the article). It's a give and take between them so pick what works best. The Moto's curved screen was a deal killer for me after owning a Samsung S10 with it's curved screen with using various glass screen protectors that lifted at the ends. http://www.gizmochina.com/2025/02...xy-a35-5g/

Has anyone tried to get this deal at an actual Total Wireless store? If so were there any issues? Thanks!

One of the other pros the Edge 2024 has over the Galaxy A36 and can be a deal killer to a lot of people is PWM flicker. Edge has a setting for disabling the flicker which Galaxy doesn't. If you find you get headaches eyestrain and nausea looking at your OLED phone that's why.

FWIW Total wireless are a bunch of liars. You can't believe one single word that they said and I know this from personal experience. I would highly advise to go to just about anywhere else than this company. They are a bunch of crooked vultures. Don't say I didn't warn you.......again!

While the Moto Edge has some benefits like wireless charging and and faster chip, I personalty would choose the A36 with 6 years of Android updates and most likely the better camera and support over all.
But needs are different.
I like Moto phones (eg....G-Stylus) but I do not understand their limited OS upgrades. You only get ONE????

Edge has SONY LYT700 1/1.5" sensor, bigger than A35/A36.

Btw, you should stop posting. All your posts have too much incorrect info.

comparison to moto edge 2024:
cons
-slower max charging
-6gb 128gb compared to 8gb 256gb
-ip67 instead of ip68
-glass back is bad for durability
-195g instead of 174g
-no desktop mode
pros
-objectively better software once debloated and 6 years of software updates
-bluetooth 5.4 instead of 5.2
Edge also has WiFi 6E, this is quite a useful feature.
