Ive had this brand for a few years. TLDR - Good value at $4-$5 per unit and bright enough in a rural setting using 4 to illuminate my backyard, one every 15-20 feet and a few more here and there. The included battery wont keep the lights on until morning unless they get DIRECT sunlight for 6-8 hours. Mine are mounted by hooks and I have 20 of these - I switch them out in the evening and a day of semi-direct sunlight plus a day where I place them to maximize sunlight collection keeps them on all night long at max brightness. Motion sensor works well for deer and human sized objects but a groundhog wont trip the light. Eventually, multiple individual LEDs have failed in about half the units but they still continue to work. Sometimes 1 or 2, sometimes 6 or more which shouldnt be a surprise given the price point. Id recommend running a bead of silicone where the solar panel meets the housing and drilling the smallest hole at the bottom of the battery cover to allow any condensation an escape route. This mod is worth while if you plan to mount it that makes easy access unreasonable (like I did with the one mounted at the top of my garage). The battery is a flat top type and buying a higher capacity battery more than doubles the cost of each light. That said they will accommodate a higher mAH if you were so inclined.

Bought 3 years ago. 1 recently stopped working. Took out the 18650 battery inside to use for a flashlight.

I got this last year and they were a few dollars more. They are all still working and provide some nice light. Going to get some more.

I just bought the four pack for $16.99 my first order. Then ordered the six pack front button smaller model for $20.79 after the 20% off coupon that showed up in my cart. Hoping these work as well as folks are saying.

Thanks OP. Repped!

Not this exact brand, but we bought cheap solar rechargable lights like this. During a hot, sunny day, we heard a 'pop' and thank goodness someone looked out the window. The battery when pop and started a small fire. We put it out before it caught the decking on fire - but dang.

Be cautious where you put these things and how long you keep them. Rechargeable batteries don't just fizzle out - sometimes they explode.
I'm assuming there was a short somewhere in there. I wonder if you can add a car fuse in there just in case a short occurs.

6 pack with front button is on sale for $25.99 and there was a 20% off coupon, so $20.79 before tax. Seems like an all around better deal unless there's a problem with the button version.

What is the button for? It just mentions turning it on, but it's motion so wouldn't it already turn on by the time you reach the button?

These are the 5000k / 6500k bright white lights. I personally think they look terrible. Returned.

It cycles through the modes. I received them today and they are about 1.5 inches smaller than the back button version. I wasn't able to find info on the lumens or batteries but besides being a little smaller it's the same amount of bulbs. Mine are going on my balcony so smaller is actually better

Considered getting these, but don't care for the black plastic housing. Sprung for a different set of 4 white ones costing $5 each.

No reviews on those, but of plenty favorable ones on a 6-pack of what I think are the same ones, same price each…

Where exactly do you drill the small hole? Do you have a pic?

We bought these about 3 or 4 years ago. They are still going, but you can tell they don't shine as bright by the second summer. I am considering we buy these to replace the first set.
or buy cheap rechargeable batteries to replace them? and buy this since it's a good deal, as others are saying...

actually, it is 3.465 per unit for 6pk w/button vs 4.25 PU for 4pk w/o button.

I ordered 6 packs, don't need them, but I ordered them. Better hide the box before my wife sees it. lol
