Same reason any power tool does- to do the labor.
Power caulk guns squeeze out the caulk for you.

lolwut. You still need to squeeze the trigger though? Is this version somehow more accurate?

Don't buy it
It's a useless product and more work to clean stuff just go with the gun which is available in Walmart less than $10

If you've ever had to replace a car windshield or apply seam sealer to a body panel, you'd know why a cordless caulk gun can be insanely useful. It allows you to apply large amounts of sealant evenly (which is very important for something like windshield urethane where you have to apply almost an entire tube in one go evenly around the whole front end) and allows you to do it comfortably. I broke 2 standard caulk guns and had crazy hand cramps when I replaced my first windshield, I wish I would have had an electric gun then. No idea if this one is any good or not, but it's definitely not a pointless tool.

IMHO this kind of describes the user of the product - someone that needs to use this large scale, over and over again. The standard DIYer is not going to need this at that scale and the $5 Lowe's manual will be fine.

My feeling on this - if you aren't going to use it at least once a week - you don't need this. And if you do - then this is a great deal.

Anyone use this for window silicone? Will be doing some retrofits with some rainbuster sealant. That stuff is so crazy thick that this device will surely speed up the process
