TLDR: This seems sketchy, and no name/cheap probably is a risky gamble for a ladder.
I have a growing suspicion that Home Depot has become a stealthy marketplace for no name 3rd party sellers.
I can't find it disclosed anywhere on the page
But I would be a little wary of assuming this is legit just bc it's also "sold by Home Depot"

The Werner ladder you linked to here would be my personal choice. It isn't able to do the scaffold position alone. Correction: Eltory corrected my scaffold mistake with a video as well below in his reply. This ladder does indeed work as a scaffold as well! Thanks Eltory!
However, I've been using the Werner for a few days (borrowed from a neighbor) and I found it much more sturdy than I expected it to be when I first looked at it. I'm impressed with the Werner. After looking more closely at the reviews on the original posted ladder I was left feeling it was much more of a lightweight version. The Werner from HD is satisfyingly durable in my use. Hope this helps someone.

Yes. Please people. A ladder is NOT something to cheap out on. Ladders sold in big box stores from real brands are tested like crazy. Dont put your life in your hands to save $50
