2500 peak but only 1900 running? Why is that. Also, the description on Amazon says it is 2350 peak watts? Powersmart site does list 2500 peak watt though. Guess just a typo on Amazon's site. But 1900 running seems low for a 2500 peak watt unit.

compared to a champion on amazon for almost 600 -
With an ultra-quiet 53 dBA from 23 feet, enjoy 2500 starting watts, 1850 running watts and up to 11.5 hours run time on gasoline, and 1665 running watts and up to 34 hours on propane
1900 seems in line. looking at some other models a 20% drop from starting looks typical. did a little generator digging over the winter and dont think i heard of this brand though so id be more concerned about reliability/service.

I guess so, just I have a 2200 peak watt that is 1800 running watt, and a 2000 peak/1600 running. Both those have the running as 400 less (at or close to the 20% you mention), but I would expect this to be at least 2000 watt running (which would be 20% peak). Just weird that a 2500 peak watt unit only provides 100 more running watts than a unit with 300 fewer peak watts.
As for the brand, it is just one of the Chinesium made units that is made for multiple companies but is the same unit with different colors.
These are the same unit, but just different colors and design: https://a.co/d/1IvUT6W and https://a.co/d/brnZ98k are also the same

The 2 I posted above are cheaper than the PowerSmart, but not the $292 price.
