It's USB 2.0, shouldn't link cables ideally be 3.0?

Edit: I was looking at the first/primary link, didn't see the other ones initially. There is a dedicated link cable with 3.0

Ah I was looking at the linked one, didn't see the others below, my bad.

First one says it's good for vr headsets but then says USB 2.0 below it.

Does this have to be ordered separately? I added both the cable and power bank but only showing a discount on the power bank. I even clicked redeem on the USB c cables but no discounts beyond the power bank are applying.

Cable quality isn't any better I feel than the dime a dozen similar cheap cables but the lighted tips are perfect to for plugging into the cars charging ports so the ends are easy to spot. Especially in the back of the car.

I hate how USB cable manufacturers list "50,000 bends test" and point to the cable part near the ends.

I've been using USB C cables since the spec was released and never, not once, have I had a cable go bad there from bending. 100% of cable failures I've had are at the metal connector getting bent from bending up or down while in use charging.

It's such a cop out "feature" to put on a product listing that probably fools a lot of people into buying cables that snap at the connector as much or more than any other cheap cable.

Why does everything have to light up? Whether it's my phone or computer, I'm looking at the screen and don't need to be distracted by an obnoxious green light wasting electricity.
You can flip it over. It's not like most cables have it.

The benefit is Type-C often can do a partial connection where the first part of the connector makes contact, but the interior pins haven't.

As a result the cable feels secure and connected, when it actually is neither.

What the heck did your reply have to do with the light other than saying to flip it over?
I assume their point is that the light is an indicator that it has a connection, at least for power. But if it has conneciton for power, it probably does for data as well.

That said, never had a cable with lights so no idea if they light up from the power source side or need end-to-end connection to light up.

The light has a purpose, to show the cable is actually connected, which is a known problem with USB-C only partially connected.

No easy answer there. But the light is a solution.

But you probably knew that already.

I can vouch for the VR link cable. I've been using it for about a month now.
