I will never stop immediately thumbs-downing deals for these. I had an Aurora R11 for a couple months & it was terrible. Loud, super hot, terrible to work in, basic components.
Consider building your own or find/make a friend who will help you assemble. It's not as hard as you think.
Not gonna be able to build one for anywhere near these prices unfortunately
I think Linus is doing another secret shopper thingy and Dell was pretty bad. Haven't seen the latest episode but they've changed since last time. I never liked Pre-built but with Micro-center always running out of good stuff all the time this may be the route to go.
The I9, 4090 with 2 tb SSD and liquid cooled is the same price. Is that a killer deal or will 5090 be available in prebuilds for a good price later in the year?
Unfortunately NOBODY knows and pls dont listen to any1 who says they do. The tariff situation makes the pricing completely impossible to predict.
downgraded CPU over the 5080 deal they had a week or so ago, odd choice. This seems like a solid deal if it's in your budget and you want long-term life. I don't like the proprietary crap but with these specs you should be good with everything and can add RAM or drives as needed.
Link seems to take me to the base model, so I guess I need to build it out.
So the 13% is a bit of a gamble... dang. Wife gave me the ok with that in the equation.
that was my thoughts, like almost $350 if they flag the dell discount code. I guess if you're not counting on that and looking to get it for the $25XX price (plus tax), then it doesn't matter. I do see an AMEX spend 500 and get 100 credit, so 2469ish + tax if the ten site denied me. I'm tempted
This is a great deal. Gamers nexus did a teardown and said Dell's 4090 was good.
I picked up one of these last year for the super sale price. If I was in the market today I would snag this in a heartbeat especially with some or all of the discounts listed in this thread.
As an anecdote I did get the 10% coupon + cash back site came through too, but I have also seen others on this app say cash back was cancelled on them. I used their app. Got Dell rewards and cc statements and cash back as well. This one isn't starting as low but in today's climate is dang good imo.

You went through ten's app instead of using a browser? That CB is a huge chunk of change if we can get it.

He is asking about 2.5" drives, not the nvme. I am pretty sure there are more than one of those.
