I'm confused by this pricing as well for a GPU that's going to struggle.
Its for People who don't know better or who can't wait because their system died.

The 5060TI is coming out in may and will have both 8gb and 16gb variants with 16GB being the standard and have a similar MSRP.

Have Patience if you can.....

You can split pmt up to 3, pay $350 from each of your two 15% Chase, and rest to Amex 100 off 500, and the 13% cherry on the top. You have the purchase protection from Amex too even partial pmt
I didn't know that about partial payment protection. Only up to that amount though?

Yes, it is their generation after 14th (can think of it as the 15700k). Rides on new socket, LGA 1851, hence a new motherboard is needed if upgrading from previous gens.
It is generally considered a lackluster upgrade, as was the 13th and14th gen, not just because AMD destroys intel when it comes to gaming, but even their previous gen 14700k beats it in several tests.
Not all bad. It still does ok with gaming, very well in most productivity, consumes less power than previous gen- and since intel's newest CPUs are considered a dud, can be found at a cheaper price/performance then several AMD rivals.

Gamer's Nexus did a review:

Or if you just want to scan comparison charts fast, TechSpot review:

I'm seeing ultra 9 having more raw power than the other cpus, just not being able to use it in most games for some reason.

Ryzen is still the king of zip files though

How about the Alienware I9 with a 4090, 32 gb, 2tb SSD and liquid cooled for $3100 before discounts?
Got that for just over $1800 before tax (and after cashback / coupons) here on SD 11 months ago. Hellofamachine! It only came with 16gb and 1tb back then though.

not an easy buy because the videocard is meh. but also i have a 5080, so this would just be a secondary computer, so not as easy of a buy

Okay, I was purely focusing on the GPU and not so much on CPU gen and 32 vs 16GB ram, or HDD size, etc. I feel like those are min cost to upgrade (not CPU), but GPU is the main focus here IMO. I have a 3060ti now so not worth the upgrade but I recall seeing some 4070ti for about $1100 a few months back so been waiting for $1k w/ 4070ti or better

This model did not exist back in Dec/Jan...that was the Aurora R16. This is the newer Aurora ACT1250.

Fair enough. 🙂 I also have to change my opinion on this deal. LTT is doing Secret-shooper- (had to type it that way tried 3 times) series at the moment, and this has better components at a lower price than anything they were able to purchase. While this may not be an amazing system, at this price point it seems to be better than most.
LTT secret shopper was done months ago... there weren't new GPUs available
hence to why their deals sucked
and hence to why LTT sucks, choosing the worst time to do secret shopper, when 40 series are scarce and 50 series are just coming out

I just block them, without a link or proof they are just being a troll. don't even reply to them, that causes you to repost their post in your comment
