Have it on my Amex gold. No need for it now so I'll probably buy a refundable fare and just take the $200 JB credit for $150

Flights must originate in the US.

So it won't work if you buy round-trip tickets separately (quite common nowadays in Google Flight search)

It will work on one of the flights. Which is the same if you bought a roundtrip as long as your one way is over $200

By refundable you mean refundable as flight credit , not refundableback to original payment method? Because if its flight credit which is available on Blue and above , it expires in 12 months. If you get a refund you risk a clawback . Just trying to figure the best way to do this. Thanks.

Refunadble credit, I fly jetblue often. Also, not sure what's been happening lately but I tend to rebook my flights if prices change and every time I've canceled a flight lately my travel credit gets a refreshed 12 months.

Any chance this could be applied after the fact? Through customer service maybe? I just booked a flight a few days ago.

Ok, I might have to do this trick then . I have two credits on different cards. Only thing is my flights are usually NY-FL and they rarely go over $200 unless round trip . Maybe Ill just use one to be safe
