It's good in ramen when fried and chopped into small bites. Acquired taste though so if you have the palate of nuggets, Mac and cheese, fries and hot dogs, you can safely skip this.

Hard disagree with most of this thread. Fry it up in some oil. Throw it on rice. Add some kimchi. I think it's great.

So for those that say ick, does it taste like gochujang and you don't like that? Or do you usually love gochujang and you still don't like it? Because the one comment threw me. I don't think that gochujang is inherently spicy. So unless the spam is labeled spicy I wouldn't expect it to be? Gochujang isn't "Korean spicy" it is just a very particular flavor that also is not kimchi.
