Exact same situation. Subscription ending soon, and didn't want to autorenew at $80, so decided to cancel.

Got the $19.99 offer while cancelling.

See attached.

Did not work on this end. However, my subscription is ending November 2025. I went to cancel the subscription and did not get the renewal pop up for $19.99
Oh well, I guess I will look again around Black Friday for a Peacock deal like last year's $19.99

Worked for me.

I had a twenty dollar deal from last June that worked well for watching the Olympics so now I'm set for another year of cheap viewing. (Much better than paying Comcast $$$!)

THANKS

My annual was ending in May and I canceled last month. Today I went in and restarted my existing plan and immediately went for cancel, the offer showed and I accepted 19.99 deal. For others in my situation, please restart (if you still have time left in existing plan) and then cancel and see if offer shows up. good luck! thanks OP!

And I seem to be in the same boat as a lot of people. I signed up originally to watch the Olympics and Big Ten football. Probably should have cancelled instead of biting on the $1.99/month offer. Then, see if a better deal came around come football season. But here's CoPilot's pitch on why I am not wasting $2/month:

Peacock has a great mix of classic hits and fresh originals. Some of the top streaming shows right now include:
Poker Face – A mystery-of-the-week series starring Natasha Lyonne.
The Traitors – A reality competition full of deception and strategy.
30 Rock – The beloved comedy starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.
Law & Order: SVU – A long-running crime drama with gripping cases.
Bel-Air – A dramatic reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The Continental – A John Wick prequel series exploring the origins of the infamous hotel.
Southern Charm – A reality series following Charleston's elite social scene.
Peacock also has a strong lineup of NBC classics like The Office and Parks and Recreation

Will probably give The Continental a chance. Not a recommendation, at least yet.

$1.99 for 6 month offer here. I was going to gamble and hit cancel but figured $2 is better than $8

This is kinda funny - I had already canceled my plan because I didn't want it to auto-renew. My previous annual plan was set to expire on June 9. I restarted my plan, so that it was set to auto-renew for $79.99, waited 5 minutes, and cancelled again. I was immediately prompted with the offer to stay another year for $19.99. I have also activated the $7.99 rebate, so supposedly in June I'll get to renew for 12 bucks. Good stuff, thanks for the heads up!
