Exact same situation. Subscription ending soon, and didn't want to autorenew at $80, so decided to cancel.

Got the $19.99 offer while cancelling.

See attached.

Did not work on this end. However, my subscription is ending November 2025. I went to cancel the subscription and did not get the renewal pop up for $19.99
Oh well, I guess I will look again around Black Friday for a Peacock deal like last year's $19.99

Nope I canceled beginning of April no good for me either
Could you reinstate your plan, and try cancelling again?:

This is kinda funny - I had already canceled my plan because I didn't want it to auto-renew. My previous annual plan was set to expire on June 9. I restarted my plan, so that it was set to auto-renew for $79.99, waited 5 minutes, and cancelled again. I was immediately prompted with the offer to stay another year for $19.99.

Got the discount.

BUT, they have removed the ability to upgrade to ad-free on a month-by-month basis. Now you can only upgrade the whole year. Previously the monthly upgrade was a good use for recurring credit card offers.

Has anyone tried this with an account that expires in Nov/Dec? Curious whether the 19.99 offer is given and whether it adds another full year for expiration Nov/Dec 2026.

I was on the target 3 month promo and it prematurely ended my subscription to the next billing cycle (mid-may) which was supposed to be good through July. Was able to at least reinstate my target promo for 3 month so for those who just outright canceled you might be able to reinstate the old plan.

Maybe this is a brand new offer and bad timing, but mine was set to expire this week and I cancelled it last week so it wouldn't auto-renew. I was offered a whopping $2 discount off the usual $7.99/mo subscription price

It must be new. I have the yearly plan I purchased with the deal last summer. It ends on 6/21 but I got an email from Peacock on 4/28 reminding me it was about to renew so I went ahead and canceled it. No offer. It's like they were trying to get me to cancel early knowing they were about to offer this retention deal.

I have also activated the $7.99 rebate, so supposedly in June I'll get to renew for 12 bucks. Good stuff, thanks for the heads up!

I just tried that and it didn't work for me Frown Mine doesn't end until June 21, though. Maybe there will be another offer before then. At least Poker Face season 2 will be fully out by then if I can make sure I keep up with it and watch it before my subscription ends. That's the one thing I'm looking forward to, at the moment.

This worked for me as my plan was up on June 1. Also my Amex card had an offer for $7.99 back if I spent $7.99 or more. Worked great!

I wish I had this one. Since Leeds are going back to the Premier League I need peacock again

Welcome back. As a Liverpool fan since the early seventies, it's my pleasure to have never experienced regulation. Losing out on winning the league hurts enough.

Was the $19.99 offer on the first page when you click cancel, or did it show up the second time you click cancel on the "Are you sure you want to cancel your plan?" page? Mine expires June 8th, but I currently am paying for the monthly add on plan...wonder if that affects it.

What are yall watching on peacock? I'm only thinking to get local sports games but the content seems pretty meh. It is rather cheap though without the sports add on.
They're gonna have NBA and they have a deal with the Big Ten for football and basketball.

How much extra is for a year of ad-free upgrade?

Went to cancel my 6 months at $1.99 plan that ends on 5/4. They made no effort to keep me 🥴
