I remember these used to be 2 for $5, maybe even 2 for $4 at one point in time; 2 for $5 for sure though. And the Jr. BCB and small Chicken Sandwich were $1.

These same items used to be free with purchase. No way am I falling for that. Either give me a BOGO or free.

honestly, it's ass. It is basically an oversized chicken nugget. It's just ground up chicken bits instead of real chicken breast

I second this. Chicken patty is just like the nuggets. Would rather get the beef hamburger all day long.

The dollar has been devalued roughly 30% since then so the price hasn't really changed

There's a very expensive Wendy's near my work, by expensive I mean they charge $7 for a '4-for-4' and over $3 for the cheapest plain burger.
I go there solely to order the flat rate deals like this and use an old cup at the drink machine.

My Wendy's charges $5-$8 for them, with the $5 one only being available on the app, which makes me think it's supposed to be discontinued.

The meal bags are $7-$9 at the one I mentioned (kill me) - I think Wendy's corporate wants to nationally advertise a deal that rhymes with four, but the actual franchisee owners have leeway in their franchise agreements to set prices how they want, and in the expensive coastal cities they decided customer ire was worth setting prices that contradict the deal name.
